The tip: Family Tradition Tattoo Supply

So if you don’t know what the T.I.P. is. let me briefly explain.

The T.i.p. (tattoo initiative project) Is a program where we find small tattoo related business, buy some of their products and send samples out to our bulk shirt order clients ( at least 95% of our clients are tattoo artists or tattoo shops).

Okay now you know what it is, Lets introduce one of our first suppliers, Family Tradition Tattoo Supply!

Justin and Scottie have been solid humans towards us over the last few years. They are some of those guys that just want to see everyone do good, and that is what this brand is all about. Here is some background on Family tradition and how they got their start!

“Family Tradition started for no other reason than me being tired of not liking any stencil products that were on the market at the time. I went out and bought everything I needed to make a stencil applicator like I use to do during my apprenticeship and started mixing. After using it for a few months, I decided to start putting it out there and see what happens. It didn't take long for it to start to catch traction from a lot of my friends and I started to get a demand for it. That's basically when Family Tradition was born.”

“After about 2 years of just having the applicator, my business partner in State St Tattoo Fest, Scotty Whitaker, asked if I wanted to start making ink with him. He had the same thought process I did when I made the applicator: no bullshit and tattooer made. Having someone that's been in tattooing for almost 30 years and has a background in making ink, how could I say no?

We started with just lining black and wanted to stop there. After having a huge response from everyone, people starting asking for more. So 2 blacks, a white, and 15 colors...and counting, here we are. We are very proud to say everything is mixed, bottled, labeled and capped by us. A product truly made by tattooers, for tattooers.”
